Shogun Coffee is a modern recreation made based on historical records of the coffee served to entertain Western ministers by Japan's last shogun, Prince Tokugawa Yoshinobu.

Mr. Tokugawa Yoshitomo, the great-grandson of Prince Tokugawa Yoshinobu, was involved in the product development and roasting to ensure this

coffee is truly worthy of the “Shogun” crown.

“Shōgun Coffee” is a French-style coffee from the late Edo period, inspired by the "Mocha-Java" coffee blend that was circulating at the time. It is a blend of Indonesian Mandheling and Ethiopian Mocha.

It has a velvety smooth texture and a lasting rich, fine, wine-like sweetness.

It is more than twice as concentrated as other companies' products, so you can enjoy the aroma, sweetness and richness of coffee that is strong enough to be served with plenty of ice, milk, cold water or hot water.
