A low calorie snack made from sweet potatoes! “Imoshoku sweet potato”
Allow us to introduce you to a low calorie, sweet potato snack called, “Imoshoku sweet potato”!
“Imoshoku sweet potato” is made and sold by “Amanatto” (sugar-glazed sweets) maker, Tsukamoto Co., Ltd. It is a long-established producer that has been carefully making “Amanatto” for about 80 years by passing down traditional techniques from one generation to the next.
In addition to classic Amanatto made from pinto beans, red beans, and white kidney beans, we also have Amanatto made from vegetables such as sweet potatoes, burdocks, and carrots, numbering our types of recipe at over 50.
The “Imoshoku sweet potato” uses sweet potatoes grown in Ibaraki Prefecture that have proper records of cultivation, no sugar, and no food additives. When compared to other products that use conventional sugar, our product has 30% less calories because it uses low sugar syrup!
This product was developed in collaboration with Sagami Women’s University (Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture), whose students named the product and designed the “Imosho-kun” character.
Packaged in a 65g bag, the product is easily consumable and can be preserved at room temperature for 180 days!
This product can also be a light snack for when you are busy.
