Our main strawberry varieties are Ibarakiss and Tochiotome. Ibarakiss is Ibaraki Prefecture's original brand registered in 2012. It has a good balance of sweetness and acidity and has a nice firm texture. Tochiotome is a classic strawberry variety, which accounts for the vast majority of the strawberries produced in Ibaraki Prefecture. It is plump, sweet, and nicely sour. Tochiotome is a very juicy strawberry and it lasts longer due to the firmness of the outside of the strawberry.
