Aoki Sake Brewery

Aoki Brewing co.,ltd. has been producing and selling sake since its founding in 1831.

The company is located in western Ibaraki Prefecture in Koga City, where the Watarase and Tone Rivers intersect. Although small in scale, the company continues to carefully brew sake with care and respect for the local area and its people.

While respecting the traditions that have been passed down from generation to generation, the sake brewery aims to produce better quality sake by introducing the latest brewing equipment as well as manual work.

Gold medal-winning Daiginjo

Gokeijo Gold Award-winning Daiginjo and "Yamadanishiki" from District Special A

Our recommended product for export is " Gokeiji Gold Prize Daiginjo" which won the highest award, the Gold Prize, at the National New Sake Competition held once a year.

Among the king of sake rice is "Yamada Nishiki", the highest quality from the special A district. It is lavishly used to create a sake with a melon-like flavor and a superb sweetness.

Recommended Way to Enjoy

Chill it well and drink it in a wide-mouthed glass like a wine glass to enjoy its rich aroma.

Since it is characterized by its gorgeous aroma and mellow flavor, we recommend serving it as an aperitif with a light snack such as cream cheese.

Other popular products include junmai ginjo made mainly from Ibaraki rice, such as "Hitachi nishiki", "Fukumaru," and "Omachi". It is a junmai ginjo with a juicy and fruity flavor made from Okayama's representative sake brewing rice.
