Kojiya’s “Takikomi Gohan Seasoning (takomeshi seasoning)”, perfect for your bento lunch box!
Japan, completely wrapped in the cheerfulness of spring.
Today, we would like to introduce you the “Takikomi Gohan Seasoning (takomeshi seasoning)”, a product that perfectly goes well with bento lunch boxes.
The “Takikomi Gohan Seasoning (takomeshi seasoning)” allows you to recreate Obento no Mannenya’s (by Kojiya) famous “Sanpin Takomeshi” ekiben, a type of bento lunch box sold on trains and at train stations, at home.
This product is a seasoning for takikomi
gohan (a Japanese rice dish) that has octopus cut into small pieces for easy
consumption, burdock, shiitake mushrooms, and carrots.
It’s incredibly easy to use!
① Add 2 cups (about 300g) of washed rice
to your rice cooker.
② Then add in the takomeshi seasoning.
③ Start cooking the rice without adding any water.
*Don’t hesitate to add sliced cuts of carrots or other vegetables!
④ After the rice is done cooking, finish up by serving it in a bowl or packing it in a bento box!
Since there is no need to add water, you
can easily make delicious takomeshi just by preparing rice!
Thanks to the gradually expansive aroma and umami flavor of the octopus, this product is so delicious you won’t be able to stop eating it after taking a bite!
Being able to make delicious takomeshi with such ease is really impressive.
Please feel free to give it a try!
